What to verify on a Dutch-registered car

Type the licence plate into the RDW’s free check and see whether make, model and first registration match the ad, and when the APK expires. Ask the seller for the NAP report on the mileage. The registration should be in the seller’s name.

Walk away from a seller who cannot meet, wants money to reserve the car, or offers to ship it after payment. Pay only after the viewing.
