Search for the exact used car
On autoscout24.com set make, model and the year range you trust, then a mileage ceiling, a price ceiling, fuel and gearbox. Add body type if the family needs an estate or an SUV. Choose only the countries you would visit to view a car, sort by newest listings and copy the link.

Hand the search to MXSender
Paste the link on the MXSender website and choose email; confirm the address in the mail we send you. If you would also like a Telegram card, add that channel as well, it costs nothing extra. A clear name such as „Family SUV, max 120,000 km“ helps when the mail arrives.

New listings land in your inbox
Compare cars in your inbox
When a check finds new matches, one email lists them all: the title, the asking price, a photo if the ad has one and a link to each car. Cars that were already on the page when you started are skipped.

The costly habit of checking once a week
Many buyers sit down on Saturday morning, open AutoScout24 and work through the week’s results. It feels thorough, but the well-maintained, honestly priced cars rarely survive until Saturday: someone who saw them on Tuesday has already booked a viewing. What is left is the overpriced, the tired and the cars nobody wanted.
Email fixes the timing without turning the search into a second job. Each mail holds only the cars added since the last check, so you can read it over coffee, star the interesting ones and reply to a seller the same day.
Wording a used-car search that is neither too wide nor too tight
Too wide, and your inbox fills with every hatchback in Europe. Too tight, and the one car you wanted, listed with a slightly higher mileage, never shows up. A practical middle: one model family, a five- or six-year span, a mileage ceiling a little above your ideal and a price ceiling with room to negotiate.
If two models appeal to you equally, give each its own search. The mails then stay readable, and you see which market is moving faster.
Checks on a used car you found abroad
Ask for the full service history and look for stamps or invoices that match the mileage. Request the registration documents and, where the country offers one, a vehicle history report. A test drive is the minimum; an independent inspection near the seller is worth the fee on an expensive car.
Before you agree a price, find out what registering an imported car costs in your country, since the paperwork and fees vary. And never transfer a deposit to an unknown private seller for a car you have not seen with your own eyes.

❓Frequently asked questions
Can I search for a used car in several countries at once?
Yes. Whatever countries your AutoScout24 search includes are covered by the alert.
Will I receive dozens of mails a day?
At most one per check, and only when that check finds something new.
Is the photo always included?
When the listing provides one it appears in the mail; some ads have none.
Can I stop the mails?
Every alert has an unsubscribe link, and you can pause or delete the search on the website.
Does the alert tell me if a car has been sold?
No. It tells you a new car appeared; the listing itself shows whether it is still available.
Do you check the car’s history?
No. History reports, inspections and the deal are between you, the seller and the services you choose.
