Pick the models before you touch the filters
The best search starts on your own lot, not on the website. Which cars sold within a few weeks last season, which sat for months? Build searches only for the first group. A hatchback that every learner driver wants is a better sourcing target than a rare spec you would need to wait for a buyer for.
Then translate each model into a ceiling: expected sale price, minus preparation, repairs, transport, registration, a warranty reserve and your margin.
