Working backwards from the resale price

Start with what the car realistically sells for on your lot. Subtract the ekspertiz, notary fees, a service and detailing, your listing and travel costs, and the margin you need. What remains is the highest price you can pay, and that is the number for the search's price filter.

One search per segment, one hashtag per search

When cheap means undisclosed damage

A price far under your own line deserves suspicion. It can hide a heavy tramer history, replaced structural parts, an odometer that does not match the wear, or a lien on the vehicle. It can also be a listing for a car that does not exist, typically with a seller who is abroad and wants a deposit before you see anything.

Query the damage record, check for liens or seizures, take the car to an independent ekspertiz, and pay at the notary during the transfer. The car you buy carelessly is the one your next customer complains about.

A first message that sounds like a buyer who will turn up

Have your opening ready: when can you see it, will they allow an independent inspection, how soon can the transfer happen. Private sellers in a hurry tend to answer the person who sounds certain. If you trade cars regularly, also check the current rules on dealer authorisation (yetki belgesi) with the Ministry of Trade.
