Zillow rentals in Telegram before the showings fill

The renter who asks for a showing on the evening a fair two-bedroom goes up is usually the one who signs, and a Telegram card from your own Zillow rental search is how you become that renter.

3 steps

Set up in a minute

  1. Search on Zillow, sort by newest

Set Zillow to rentals and tighten it

Switch the search to For rent, enter the neighborhood or ZIP code, set the top rent you can carry, the bedrooms and the home type. Add only the must-haves, such as pets or parking, and sort by newest. Copy the results link once the page looks like a list you would really tour.

  2. Copy the link, paste it into mxsender

Send the link to the MXSender bot

Paste it in the MXSender Telegram bot, or on our website, and keep Telegram as the channel; email can be added for a record. Call it something short, like „East Austin 2BR“.

  3. New listings land in your Telegram

    React to the card

A rental that enters your results after the first check arrives as a card with the photo, title, rent and a button to the Zillow listing. Rentals that were already up on day one are not sent.

Sunday night, a two-bedroom off Manor Road

A property manager posts a renovated two-bedroom at a rent that matches the neighborhood rather than beats it. By Monday afternoon the contact form has a stack of messages and the Tuesday showing is fully booked. The person who gets it wrote on Sunday night with a move-in date, a household size and a proof-of-income line, and was the first name on the list.

Nobody can watch a map all weekend. A card in a chat you already check does the watching for you.

A rental search narrow enough to act on

Too wide and every card is a maybe you skip; too narrow and nothing arrives for weeks. A good middle: one or two neighborhoods you have actually walked, a rent ceiling about ten percent above your ideal, and the bedroom count you need. Leave out amenities you would trade away for the right street.

Comparing two parts of town? Make them two searches. Each card is tagged with its search’s hashtag, and you can mute the backup so it lands without a sound.

Reply from the card while the calendar is still open

Keep a short note saved in your phone: move-in date, who will live there, pets, monthly income, and two times you are free to see the place. When a card fits, tap through, paste it and send it. Forward the card to your roommate in the same breath so you can agree on it before the showing.

Deposits, holding fees and fake landlords

Copies of real listings sometimes reappear at a lower rent with a landlord who is abroad and asks for a deposit by wire or app before any showing. Walk away from that. Verify ownership through the county appraisal district or recorder records, talk to the manager on a number you looked up, and see the unit before paying. Application and holding fees are legal in many places, but how much and when depends on your state.

Plans: Free, one search every 30 minutes; Starter, $5.99, five searches every 10 minutes; Pro, $14.99, twenty searches with the fastest checks. Telegram and email on each.

Yes, with the photo, the title and a button to the listing.

Can my roommate get the cards too?

Forward them in Telegram, or add email as a second channel.
