999.md used-car alerts in Viber, one line per car

Viber is already open on many phones in Moldova, which makes it a handy place to hear about each new car that fits your make, years and budget.

3 steps

  3. New listings land in your Viber

Read the line, then open the ad

Every new car arrives as a text message with its title, price and a link. There is no photo and no button, so the pictures, mileage and the seller’s number are behind the link.

Does a short message really beat checking the site?

Ask anyone who lost a good car to a faster buyer. A fairly priced, well-kept car on 999.md gets its first calls soon after it is posted, and the seller usually shows it to the first person who rang. Checking the site several times a day still leaves long gaps.

A Viber line with the model, year and price is enough to decide whether to look closer. If it fits, open the link, check the photos and call from the same phone.

When to add Telegram or email next to Viber

If you want to see the car before opening anything, Telegram and email put the photo in the alert itself. You might keep Viber as the quick nudge and email as the place to compare cars later. You can run all three on one search.

Every channel comes with every plan. Free: one search every 30 minutes. Starter ($5.99): five searches every 10 minutes. Pro ($14.99): twenty searches with the fastest checks.

Keep the messages worth reading

Fill in fuel and gearbox; those two blanks cause most unwanted messages. Give mileage a little room, since sellers round. Keep the region to towns you would really drive to, whether that is Chișinău only or the whole country.

Buying safely from a private seller in Moldova

Ask for the VIN before you go and check the history; for an imported car, confirm it has cleared customs and is registered in Moldova. At the viewing, compare the VIN on the body with the registration certificate and make sure you are dealing with the owner or someone with a valid power of attorney.

Book an inspection at a garage you pick. Send no deposit for a car you have not seen, and pay once the transfer is being registered and the documents are in order.

❓Frequently asked questions

Usually the Subscribe tap in the bot chat. If that is done, check whether new cars have actually appeared on your results page.

Why does the message have no photo?

Viber alerts are text only. Telegram and email include the photo.

Will I get cars already listed?

No, only cars posted after the first check.

Can I watch two different models?

Yes, with two searches. Free has one, Starter five, Pro twenty.

The ad title is in Russian. Is that a problem?

No. The message shows the title as the seller wrote it.

Do I need to register on 999.md?

No. The results page is public.
