A mistake car buyers in Bulgaria make with saved searches

The common error is a search that is too broad. „Any diesel under 10,000 euro“ produces a stream of messages you will soon ignore, and then you miss the one that mattered. Put the model in the filters, cap the age, and if you care about the gearbox say so. In a text-only message the title is all you see, so the title should already be the right kind of car.

Narrow searches also make the price in each message meaningful: you will quickly notice when one sits well below the others.

From Viber message to test drive

Tap the link, look through the photos and the description, and if the car still fits, call. Many sellers reply on Viber, so the conversation stays in the same app. Ask about service history, the last technical inspection and the number of owners before you set off, especially for a car in another city.

If you share the hunt with family, forward the message; the link travels with it.

Signs worth a second look in used car ads

A price far below comparable cars, a seller who is abroad and wants the car shipped after a deposit, or a refusal to show the papers are all reasons to stop. Check the VIN on the car against the registration certificate, and bring a mechanic or book a diagnostic check. Pay only once the contract is signed and the documents match.
