Gearbox and fuel: the two filters that halve the noise

AUTO.RIA lets you describe a car in more detail than most boards, and every blank filter is a door left open. Leave gearbox empty when you only drive an automatic and your Viber will fill with manuals. Leave fuel empty and you will be reading about diesels you never wanted. Neither costs you money, but each message you ignore makes the next one easier to ignore.

Mileage and region deserve some slack instead. Sellers round mileage, so set the limit a little above your ideal. A nationwide search only makes sense if you would really drive from Kyiv to Kharkiv for a viewing.

A title and a price are enough to decide on a call

Because the message is short, it reads at a glance between other chats. If the model, year and price fit, open the link, look at the photos, then call from the same phone. With used cars that are clean and fairly priced, the seller tends to agree a viewing with whoever reaches them first, so the point is to be that person.

Your plan sets how often the search is looked at: Free gives one search every 30 minutes, Starter at $5.99 gives five searches every 10 minutes, and Pro at $14.99 gives twenty with the fastest checks. Viber comes with each of them.

Cars brought in from the EU or the US

You will see imported cars on AUTO.RIA next to ones that spent their whole life in Ukraine. Treat them the same, with three extra questions: is it already cleared and registered here, where was it driven before, and what was repaired after it arrived. Run the VIN through history services that cover its country of origin as well as the Ukrainian registers.

Some ads carry a checked-VIN mark. Take it as a useful hint and still do your own check.

Paying for it: papers, garage, MVS service centre

Get the VIN before the trip and check the registration history and the number of owners. At the viewing, the VIN on the body must match the registration certificate, and the owner named there must be the person selling or carry a valid power of attorney. Have an independent garage of your own choosing look at it.

Send no deposit for a car you have not seen. Hand over the money during re-registration at an MVS service centre, once the papers check out and the contract is signed.

❓Frequently asked questions

My search is on, but Viber stays silent. What is wrong?

Usually the Subscribe button in the bot chat was never pressed, and Viber delivers nothing without it. Otherwise, check that new cars actually appeared on your results page.

Why is there no photo in the message?

Viber alerts are text only: title, price and link. If you want the photo in the alert itself, Telegram and email both show it.

Will cars that were already listed be sent?

No. The first check stores the current page, and only cars added afterwards reach you.

Can I search for two models?

Yes, as two separate searches. Free allows one, Starter five and Pro twenty.

Do I need an AUTO.RIA account?

No. The search page you copy is public, and the link is all MXSender needs.
