Build the baby-gear search on leboncoin

Open the Équipement bébé category and search by brand and model rather than a generic word: „Babyzen Yoyo“, „Stokke Tripp Trapp“, „lit parapluie“, „chaise haute“. Add your town and a sensible radius, set a price cap, tick Particulier if you like, and sort with the most recent ads first.

A car seat from a stranger: what to verify

Never buy a car seat that has been in an accident, even a minor one; damage to the shell may not show. Ask the seller directly. Check the approval label, ECE R44 or R129, and the manufacturing date, and make sure the seat suits your child’s weight and height.

If the seller cannot say clearly where the seat has been, skip it and wait for the next card. Plenty more will come.

French parents sell gear after a few months

Babies outgrow things fast, so a lot of gear on leboncoin has barely been used. Other parents nearby know that too, and a branded pushchair at a fair price draws messages quickly.

A Telegram card that arrives during a feed lets you reply while the ad is still new and offer to come by that evening, without checking the site all day.

Checking a travel cot or high chair at pickup

Open the lit parapluie and the high chair on the spot, check that every lock clicks, the harness is complete and nothing is missing. For clothing, searching by size works well: „lot 12 mois“, „lot garçon 3 ans“.

Meet the seller in person, look the item over, then pay. Never send a deposit to someone you have not met.

Five leboncoin searches for a new arrival

A typical list covers pushchair, car seat, cot, high chair and clothes, which fits the Starter plan. leboncoin also has its own saved searches with alerts, working in their own way.

With MXSender the plan sets the pace: Free checks one search every 30 minutes, Starter at $5.99 checks five every 10 minutes, Pro at $14.99 runs twenty with the fastest checks. Telegram and email are on every plan.

❓Frequently asked questions

Can my partner see the same finds?

Forward any card in Telegram; the photo, price and link stay together so you can decide as a pair.

Will I be sent everything already listed?

No. The first check records the current ads, then only newer ones are sent.

I do not speak much French. Can I still use it?

Yes. Search by brand names, which are the same in any language; the card shows title, price and link, and a translator handles the chat with the seller.

Can I look only at private sellers?

Yes, tick Particulier in leboncoin’s filters before copying the link; MXSender follows the search as you built it.

Do you need my leboncoin account?

No. We use the public results page you shared; your account is only for messaging sellers.

Can I watch toys for an older sibling too?

Yes, as a separate search, say „Duplo“ or „draisienne“. Its own hashtag keeps those cards apart from the pushchair hunt.
