Indonesian parents sell barely used bouncers, cots, baby walkers and travel systems all the time, often with the box, and many items cost a fraction of the shop price. Ask whether the seat has ever been in an accident; a seat that has been through one should not be reused. Ask its age and look for the manufacture date on the label, since plastic ages. For strollers, fold and unfold it, test the brakes and look at the wheels. For cots, check slats for cracks and that the mattress fits snugly.
