Most sellers write in German, so your search should too. Kinderwagen is the pram, Buggy the lighter stroller, Babyschale the infant car seat, Kindersitz the bigger one, Babybett or Gitterbett the cot, Hochstuhl the high chair. Clothes bundles are often titled with the size, such as „Paket Gr. 86/92“.

A brand plus a type is usually the sweet spot. „Bugaboo“ alone also brings sunshades and cup holders; „Bugaboo Fox Kinderwagen“ with a price cap brings the thing you actually want to collect.

Reading the approval label on a used car seat

Treat car seats differently from everything else. Ask the seller plainly whether the seat was ever in an accident; if the answer is vague, walk away. Then find the approval label, which names ECE R44 or R129, and use it with the production details to judge age and fit for your child.
