Dealer stock and private sellers from all over Germany

mobile.de is where German dealerships list their stock and where a lot of private owners sell their cars, vans and motorhomes. That breadth is useful, but it also means a broad search changes constantly, and refreshing it by hand is a poor use of an evening.

Making sure the first match reaches you

Your email provider decides which folder a message goes to, not us. After the first match arrives, look in spam or promotions as well, mark the email as wanted and add the sender to your contacts so later ones sort correctly. Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.

Plans, addresses and honest limits

Free checks one search every 30 minutes and sends to one address. Starter at $5.99 checks five searches every 10 minutes, also to one address. Pro at $14.99 covers twenty searches with the fastest checks and can email up to three addresses, useful when a partner or parent is part of the decision.

Large portals do not always let a check through. If a round cannot read the results page, it sends nothing and the next round tries again, so we never promise how long after publication an email will arrive.

Before you hand over money for a used car

See the car in daylight and drive it from cold. Compare the VIN on the registration documents with the one on the car, and the owner’s name with the seller’s ID. A pre-purchase inspection at an independent garage costs little next to a bad buy.

Do not pay a reservation fee or deposit for a car you have not seen, and be wary of sellers who only write by email and offer delivery through a transport firm.
