Why a dealer's AUTO.RIA alert sometimes never arrives

The most common reason is simple: the Subscribe button in our Viber chat was never tapped. Viber only lets an account message people who have subscribed to it, so a search can be running happily and still send nothing to your phone. Tap it once and the messages start with the next new car.

The second reason is a search that is honestly too narrow, for example one exact trim in one city at a price nobody asks. Widen the region or the years before you widen the price.

Text without a photo still answers the first question

Because the search already holds make, model, age, mileage and your ceiling, the title and price in the message are usually enough to decide whether to open the ad right now or after the customer in front of you has left. If you want the photo in the alert itself, send the same search to Telegram or email as well.

Checks for a car you mean to sell on

Whatever you buy, your own customer will look at it closely later, so look closer first.

Match the VIN on the registration certificate, the body and the open MVS records. Confirm the seller is the owner or holds a power of attorney, and that the car is not under a restriction. Take it to an independent service station you choose, and check paint thickness and diagnostics there.

Pay no deposit for a car you have not seen. A seller who will not show the car before money moves has told you what you need to know.
