Used MacBooks on 999.md, sent to your Telegram

Moldova’s largest classifieds site gets fresh laptops every day, and a Telegram card lets you call the seller of the good one first.

3 steps

Set up in a minute

  1. Search on 999, sort by newest

Shape the laptop search on 999.md

Open the computers and laptops part of 999.md and type the model you want, say MacBook Pro M2 or Dell Latitude. Add a price ceiling in lei or euro, limit the town if you only buy in person, sort by newest and copy the full URL from the browser.

  3. New listings land in your Telegram

A card lands in the chat for each new notebook

You see the photo, the title, the price and a button to the ad. A hashtag per search keeps a MacBook hunt apart from, say, a gaming laptop hunt in the same chat.

Picture this: an M1 Air at a student’s price in Chișinău

Someone upgrades, lists the old Air for well under what similar ones ask, and goes to lunch. By the time they look at their phone there are a dozen missed calls. The buyer is whoever rang first and could meet that evening.

That buyer is rarely the one refreshing the site. It is usually someone who got told. The card in Telegram is that message, and it arrives in a chat you already open many times a day.

Ads written in Russian slip past a Romanian keyword

A good share of 999.md sellers write in Russian. A search for „laptop“ will not catch „ноутбук“. Either run a second search with the Russian word or lean on brand and model names, which look the same in both languages.

Add a sensible minimum price too. Without one, bags, chargers and broken units sold for parts crowd the results and your chat.

Checks before you hand over lei for a MacBook

Ask the seller to sign out of iCloud and remove the device from their Apple ID in front of you. A machine still enrolled in a company’s management profile, or showing an activation lock, is not a deal at any price. Look up the serial on Apple’s coverage page and check battery cycle count in System Information.

For any brand, test every key, both ports, the webcam and the screen on a white background. Meet in a busy place. Sending a deposit for courier delivery to a seller with no history, when the price is far below the rest, is the pattern to walk away from.

Forward a card to the friend who knows laptops

The card can be forwarded straight to someone who will tell you whether that ThinkPad generation is worth it. The same chat syncs to your desktop, and a search set to silent arrives without a sound.

Checks per plan for a laptop hunt

Free covers one search checked every 30 minutes. Starter, $5.99, covers five searches every 10 minutes. Pro, $14.99, covers twenty searches with our fastest checks. Telegram works on all three.
