Vintage and collectible lots on Catawiki to your inbox

Whether you collect comics, model cars, coins or mid-century design, an email for each new matching Catawiki lot lets you add to the collection at your own pace and without last-minute bids.

3 steps

Set up in a minute

  1. Search on Catawiki, sort by newest

Describe your collection as a search

On catawiki.com open the category your collection belongs to, type the series, maker or period you are completing and apply the filters on offer. If you hunt specific pieces, a precise search works better than a whole category. Sort newest first and copy the link.

Save it in MXSender and choose email

Paste the link on the MXSender website, select email and confirm your address. One search per collecting theme keeps each mail short. Telegram can be added on any plan.

  3. New listings land in your inbox

    Open the collector mail

Each check with new lots sends one mail with title, current price in euro, a photo when provided and a link for each lot. Lots that were already up when you saved the search are not included.

Which collectors gain most from a Catawiki alert?

Those who complete sets. If you need three missing issues of a comic run, two years of a coin series or one colour variant of a toy, the piece you want may come up only a few times a year. Missing it because you did not browse that week is the real loss. An email on the day the lot is listed means you never have to browse at all.

Because Catawiki auctions last several days and lots are selected by its experts before they go live, the alert also gives you time to read the description properly and ask the seller a question.

Authenticity, condition and the photos

For collectibles, condition sets the price: grading on comics and coins, original packaging on toys, signs of restoration on design pieces. Read the condition report, zoom into every photo and compare with pieces you know. When something is unclear, ask through the lot page early, while there is time for an answer.

Check the seller’s rating as well; a long record of well-described lots is reassuring.

The total behind a collectible’s price tag

Catawiki adds a buyer’s fee to the winning bid, and shipping is charged on top. Fragile or heavy pieces cost more to send safely, and import charges may apply if the seller is in another country. Put the three together before you set a maximum bid.

Collector folders in your mailbox

Create one folder per theme and a mail rule for each search. Your provider decides where alerts land, so after the first one check spam or promotions, mark it as wanted and add the sender to your contacts. Each mail contains an unsubscribe link.

How many collecting themes each plan follows

Free follows one search, checked every 30 minutes, with one address. Starter at $5.99 follows five searches every 10 minutes with one address. Pro at $14.99 follows twenty searches with our fastest checks and up to three addresses, handy for a collecting club.

❓Frequently asked questions

Can I look for one specific issue or variant?

Will I get older lots on the first day?

No. Only lots listed after you saved the search are sent.

Can I bid from the email?

The link opens the lot on Catawiki, where you bid yourself.
