A checklist for the used washer you are about to buy
Turn the drum by hand: grinding or wobble means tired bearings. Pull back the door seal and look for mould or tears. Open the detergent drawer and check for limescale. Ask the seller to run a short spin while you watch, and look under the machine for leaks.
For fridges, ask how long it has been switched off, listen to the compressor start, and run your hand along the door seal. Write down the model number and look up its common faults before you travel.
Why inbox alerts suit a considered purchase
An appliance is a purchase you think about: energy class, capacity, age, the price of a new one. Email keeps every candidate in one place, searchable by brand and easy to file in a folder. You can read it on the phone at lunch and open the shortlist on the computer in the evening.
There is nothing to install, and every message has an unsubscribe link for the day you are done.
Russian or Romanian titles: catching both
Ads on 999.md are written in either language. A keyword such as стиральная машина finds only the Russian ones. Search the subcategory without a keyword, or set up one search per language. Brand names like Indesit or LG look the same in both, so they work as keywords across the board.
Getting there before the next buyer
The cheapest working fridges and washers in Chișinău come from people leaving the country or upgrading their kitchen, and they want them out quickly. The first caller who can collect that day usually gets the deal. Reading the new ads early, rather than discovering them at the weekend, is what puts you first.
Prepayment for courier delivery, especially through a link sent in chat, is a reason for caution. See the machine running and pay when you collect it.
If the first alert seems missing, check spam
Your mail provider decides which folder our message lands in. After the first match, look in spam and promotions as well, mark the message as wanted and add the sender to your contacts so later alerts are more likely to reach the inbox.
