Checklist before you save the bike search

Frame size written down? Wheel size decided? Budget in one currency, lei or euro, so the price filter does what you expect? Separate searches for an adult bike, a child’s bike and an e-bike? A minimum price high enough to hide stray parts and accessories?

Ask for a receipt and check the frame serial under the bottom bracket. Do not prepay for a bike you have not seen, and treat a very low price plus a rushed seller as a reason to ask more questions. Meet in daylight in a public place.
