Searching from another town or another country

Plenty of people look for a Chișinău flat before they arrive: students from the regions, people returning from abroad, someone starting a new job. Email suits that kind of search. You read the new flats when you sit down, keep the good ones in a folder, and arrange a viewing for the day you are in town.

If a relative in Chișinău can view on your behalf, forward the email to them with the photos and links already in it.

Inbox placement is up to your provider

We cannot choose which folder your mail lands in. After the first match, look in spam or a promotions tab, mark the message as wanted and add the sender to your contacts so future alerts reach the inbox.

Good flats near the centre do not wait for the weekend

A sensibly priced flat in a sought-after sector gets calls the day it is posted, and landlords tend to choose among the first people who view it. Knowing early puts you among them.

Your plan sets how often we look: Free checks one search every 30 minutes; Starter, $5.99, five searches every 10 minutes; Pro, $14.99, twenty with the fastest checks. Alerts go to one address on Free and Starter and up to three on Pro.

Three questions to ask a landlord on 999.md

Who owns the flat, and can I see the ownership document and your ID at the viewing? What exactly do utilities cost in winter? What goes into the written agreement: rent, term, deposit, who fixes what?

Do not send money before you have been inside. A rent far below the neighbourhood, combined with a landlord who cannot meet and asks for a reservation fee, is a well-known trap.
