Get new OLX Poland listings in a Telegram chat

If you live in Poland but read Polish slowly, a Telegram card for every new OLX ad lets you spot the good ones without refreshing the site all day.

3 steps

Set up in a minute

Search on OLX.pl, sort by newest

Build one tight search on OLX

Pick the category, type your city and a radius around it, then set a minimum and maximum price. Where the category has a condition filter, choose new or used, and if you would rather deal with private people than shops, leave out business sellers. Switch the sorting to newest and copy the page address from the browser or from the share button in the OLX app.

New listings land in your Telegram

Watch the cards arrive

Every listing that appears on your page after you added it becomes one card: the seller’s photo, the title in Polish, the price in złoty and a button that opens the ad. Listings that were already there on day one are left out.

Why expats and newcomers miss the best OLX deals

OLX is where Poland sells its used furniture, prams, bikes, phones and rooms. Locals check it on the tram and message sellers before lunch. If you are new to the country, translating every page slows you down, and by the time you have read an ad, three people have already asked whether it is still available.

A card in Telegram flips that around: you only look at what is new, and you only translate the two or three listings that actually interest you.

Making sense of a Polish-language card on OLX

Titles stay in the seller’s words, so learn a handful: używany means used, nowy new, do odbioru osobistego means collection only, and a price marked do negocjacji is open to an offer. The button opens the full ad, where your browser can translate the description.

Each search carries its own hashtag, so one chat can hold a flat hunt in Warsaw and a cot for the baby without the two getting mixed up. Forward a card to your partner when you need a second opinion, or mute a search that can wait.

Paying safely: OLX shipping versus links in a chat

For items that travel, the shipping and payment option started inside OLX itself, Przesyłka OLX, keeps the deal on the platform. A message asking you to click a link outside OLX to „confirm a payment“ or to type in your card details is a reason to stop.

When you collect in person, look at the item first and pay afterwards. It also helps to note whether the seller is a private person or a business, since return rights differ.
