Who sells collectibles on OLX in Poland, and why it matters

Besides dealers and fellow collectors, many sellers are simply clearing a relative’s flat. They list mid-century porcelain figurines, coloured glass, records and old cameras in one go, often at round prices and with plain descriptions. Those listings attract experienced buyers quickly, and the person who calls first and arranges a pickup usually gets the piece.

A photo card in Telegram lets you recognise a shape, a label or a glaze before you even open the listing.

Two searches per passion: the expert one and the naive one

Casual sellers rarely use collector vocabulary. Keep one search with the maker’s or label’s name, and a second with plain words, old porcelain figure or vinyl collection, capped at a sensible price. Set the plain one to muted so it arrives without a sound and you skim it later.

Hashtags keep the records apart from the glass, all in one chat on your phone and desktop. Spot something for a friend’s collection? Forward the card.

Fakes, repairs and reissues: questions before you pay

Ask for a photo of the base and its mark on porcelain, and look for glued breaks or chips. With records, ask about the pressing and the condition of the disc and sleeve; check the surface under light when you collect. Coins and banknotes are copied, so for valuable ones know the features of the original or bring someone who does.

Przesyłka OLX lets you pay through the platform for shipped items instead of sending money to a private account. Requests for prepayment or a payment link from another chat app call for caution.

Plans for one hunt or a whole collection

Free checks one search every 30 minutes. Starter, $5.99, checks five searches every 10 minutes. Pro, $14.99, covers twenty searches with our fastest checks. Telegram and email are on every plan.

A single focused search is enough to try it. Collectors with several series and a couple of plain-word searches usually land on Starter or Pro.
