New Rightmove flats to rent, straight to Telegram
A one-bed near the Tube goes up on Rightmove at lunchtime, the letting agent books viewings for the first few callers, and by the evening the slots are gone — this page is about being one of those callers.

Why London and city lets on Rightmove vanish by teatime
Rightmove carries listings from letting agents, and a decent flat at a fair rent in a busy city often gets more enquiries in its first day than the agent can show. Many agents simply fill the first block of viewings and stop answering.
So the race is not really about finding the flat; it is about being in the first handful of people who ask. A card in Telegram while you are on the bus is often all it takes to send that enquiry ahead of the crowd.
Sizing a Rightmove search around your commute
Draw the area around the commute you can live with, not around one postcode you love. Put your rent ceiling slightly above your real limit — some agents will discuss it, and bills-included listings can look pricier than they are.
Keep must-haves as filters and nice-to-haves out of the link. Bedrooms and furnished status belong in the search; a balcony or a particular floor is something you can judge from the photo on the card.
Before you hand over a penny to a letting agent
Never pay anything before you have viewed the flat in person, and be wary of anyone who asks you to transfer money to see it or to hold it unseen. A holding deposit is normal once you decide to go ahead, but rules limit how much it can be and when it must be returned, so ask for the terms in writing.
Expect referencing: the agent will check your income, previous landlord and right to rent. Have payslips or a contract, ID and a previous landlord’s contact ready before the viewing — being able to say yes on the spot is often what wins the flat. Ask where your tenancy deposit will be protected.
Two of you hunting from one Telegram chat
Forward any card to a partner or flatmate and the photo, rent and link go with it, so the second opinion needs a quick glance rather than a separate search.
If you run a main search and a back-up area, mute the back-up one: its cards arrive without a sound and you read them when you have a moment.
Following several UK postcodes on one plan
Free gives one search checked every 30 minutes, which is enough to test the idea. Starter at $5.99 covers five searches checked every 10 minutes — handy for several areas at once. Pro at $14.99 covers twenty searches with the fastest checks. Telegram and email are on every plan.
❓Frequently asked questions
Will I get flats that were already on Rightmove when I started?
No. The first check notes what is there already; you only get cards for properties added after that.
Can I search for rooms in a shared house?
If Rightmove shows them in your search, yes. Whatever appears on your results page is what we tell you about.
Does the card show the number of bedrooms?
The card shows the photo, title, rent and link. The title often names the bedrooms; the full details are on Rightmove one tap away.
What if a check misses Rightmove for a moment?
The next check picks up anything new, so a flat added in between still reaches you.
How do I stop the cards once I have found a flat?
Pause or delete the search in MXSender. You can keep the account for your next move.
