New listings land in your inbox

The mistake most renters make: checking Rightmove at night
It feels natural to sit down in the evening and scroll through the day’s new lets. The trouble is that letting agents work office hours. A flat that went up at 10am may already have its viewings booked by 3pm, and an enquiry sent at 9pm joins a waiting list or gets no answer at all.
An email during the working day closes that gap. You see the listing while the agent is still at the desk, and a short call or enquiry can put you in the first round of viewings.
Inside a MXSender email for a Rightmove search
One email covers one check. If three new flats appeared, you get one message with three entries, each carrying the main photo, the listing title, the monthly rent and a link straight to the property page. The agent’s details and the full description live on Rightmove.
Because it is ordinary email, you can file every new let in a folder, search old ones by street name, and archive the ones you ruled out. Every mail has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.
Getting the first email into your inbox
Your email provider decides where our messages land. After the first match, look in spam or promotions, mark the mail as wanted and add the sender to your contacts. That usually teaches the inbox what you expect from then on.
Checklist before the viewing and the holding deposit
Do not pay to view a property, and do not send money for a flat you have not been inside. Once you want it, the agent may ask for a holding deposit; ask how much it is, what happens to it if the landlord pulls out, and get that in writing.
Bring proof of income, photo ID and a previous landlord’s reference so referencing can start quickly. Ask about the tenancy deposit, which scheme protects it, the length of the tenancy and what bills the rent includes. A clear yes with paperwork in hand often beats a slightly higher offer from someone still undecided.
Sharing new lets with the people moving with you
Free and Starter send to one address. Pro sends to three, so you, a partner and a parent acting as guarantor can all see the same new flats. Free is one search checked every 30 minutes; Starter at $5.99 is five searches every 10 minutes; Pro at $14.99 is twenty searches with the fastest checks. Email works on all of them.
❓Frequently asked questions
Do I get a separate email for each flat?
No. Each check that finds something new sends one email listing every new flat from that check.
Is this the same as Rightmove’s own alerts?
Rightmove has its own saved searches and alerts, which some renters use alongside ours. Ours follow MXSender’s check schedule for your plan and can also go to Telegram.
Can I follow two different areas?
Yes. Make one Rightmove search per area and add each link as its own search. Starter covers five.
Will the email show properties to buy as well?
Only if your link is a sale search. Use a To Rent link and you only hear about lets.
Do I need a Rightmove login?
No. You copy the public results page; no account details are involved.
