The step people skip: Subscribe in our Viber chat

The usual reason a new reader hears nothing is simple. They chose Viber, opened the chat, then closed it without tapping Subscribe. Viber treats that as „not interested“ and blocks our messages, however many ads appear.

If your search is set but the chat stays empty, open it and look for the Subscribe button. Once you have tapped it, the next new ad comes through.

Reading a text-only alert from OLX Bulgaria

A Viber alert is deliberately short. The first line is the ad title as the seller wrote it, often in Cyrillic; then the price in euro or leva; then the address of the ad. That is usually enough to decide in a glance whether a „Bosch washing machine, 7 kg“ is worth a tap.

Why Viber fits buying second-hand in Bulgaria

Plenty of OLX sellers in Bulgaria give a phone number and expect a call or a Viber message, especially older sellers in smaller towns. Getting the alert in the same app where you will contact them shortens the path from „new ad“ to „is it still available?“.

Fake courier links and other Viber traps
