Prozorro.Sale equipment auctions, alerted in Telegram

Ever spotted the right compressor on Prozorro Sale a day after its application window had already closed?

3 steps

Set up in a minute

  1. Search on Prozorro.sale, sort by newest

Search the auction site for your kind of machine

On Prozorro.Sale, type what your shop actually needs into the search box, in Ukrainian, since that is the language lots are published in: генератор, верстат, компресор. Narrow the results with whatever the page offers — the region where the property sits, the type of asset and, if available, the lot status so you only see lots still taking applications. Put the newest first if there is a date sort, then copy the address of the results page.

  2. Copy the link, paste it into mxsender

Hand the link to the MXSender bot in Telegram

Paste that address into your chat with the MXSender bot and give the search a name you will still recognise next month. Telegram is the channel this page is about, but the same search can also go to Viber or email.

  3. New listings land in your Telegram

Get a card for each fresh lot

Whenever the page shows a lot it did not have before, a card arrives: the title, the price stated in the lot and a button that opens it with the photos and documents. Each search carries its own hashtag, and the chat looks the same on your phone and on the workshop PC.

Auctions reward the early reader, not the fast caller

Nobody wins a Prozorro.Sale lot by phoning first — the auction sets the price. What the early reader gets is time. Between publication and the application deadline you have to register with one of the accredited e-platforms, file an application, pay the guarantee fee and, ideally, see the machine in person. Spot the lot on day one and that is a relaxed week; stumble on it the evening before the deadline and it is often too late.

Hence the alert: no morning ritual of paging through results, no missed welding rig two regions away.

‘Generator’ is too wide, a model number too narrow

A bare keyword pulls in everything from a garden petrol unit to a diesel set bundled with a whole building. Add one qualifier — diesel, woodworking, CNC — and a region you would really drive to. An exact model goes the other way: organisers describe lots in their own words, so a perfect match may never appear. Two kinds of kit? Make two searches.

Telegram in a workshop: hashtags, a muted search, forwarding

Each search gets its own hashtag — tap it and the chat shows only generators, or only lathes. A wide search such as all equipment in the region can be muted, so its cards arrive without a sound and you skim them after work.

Forward a card to your mechanic or accountant before you decide whether to register.

Who pays to move a three-tonne lathe?

The lot documents say how and when the buyer collects. If dismantling, a crane or a flatbed is on you, build that into your ceiling before the auction — a cheap machine can turn expensive on its way to your floor.

Where inspection is allowed, go. Check that the control panel, motor and tooling are really there, ask when it last ran, photograph the nameplates.

What the lot file should tell you before you pay a fee

Download every attachment and look for the items included, condition where stated, inspection terms, the guarantee fee, the deadline, and how long a winner has to pay in full and sign — terms the organiser sets per lot. Ask the organiser through your e-platform before applying; we give no legal advice.

❓Frequently asked questions

Can I bid through MXSender?

No. Applications, fees and bids all go through the accredited e-platform where you are registered. We only tell you that a new lot has appeared in your search.

What does it cost, and how often is my search checked?

Free covers one search checked every 30 minutes. Starter at $5.99 gives five searches checked every 10 minutes, Pro at $14.99 twenty searches with the fastest checks. Telegram works on all three.

Will I get lots that were already published?

No. The first check remembers what is on the page; after that only newly added lots are sent.

Do I need an account on Prozorro.Sale to get alerts?

No. We look at the public results page anyone can open. An e-platform account is only needed once you decide to take part in an auction.

Does an alert mean the lot is still open for applications?

Not necessarily — it means the lot appeared in your search. Check the deadline on the lot page; filtering your search by status helps.
