Search on OLX.ro, sort by newest

Write the OLX search in the sellers’ words

Open Piese auto on OLX Romania and enter the part as Romanians name it, plus make, model and engine, for example „injector Astra H 1.7 CDTI“, or simply the part number. Cap the price in lei, filter by county if you will pick it up, sort by newest and copy the link.

Pick Viber in MXSender, then tap Subscribe

A scene: the alternator for a 2009 Focus

Your Focus is parked outside the workshop with a dead alternator, and the mechanic quotes a new one at a price that makes you wince. You set a search on OLX for the used part, route it to Viber and get on with your day. Two days later a line arrives with a yard in Pitești, the model in the title and a fair price. You call before lunch; the part ships that evening.

Nothing about that needed a photo in the first second. The title and price told you whether to dial.

Viber only lets a business account message people who subscribed to it, and opening the chat does not count. If a search is set to Viber and nothing comes, open the MXSender chat and tap Subscribe. After that, every search you send to Viber lands in that one conversation.

Generation, engine code and OE number

Parts differ between facelifts, engines and even gearbox codes. Put the generation or year in the query, and if you can read the code off your old part, search for that: yards often copy it into the ad.

If the messages turn into a stream of small accessories, add a minimum price. If nothing comes for weeks, drop a word or widen the county.

Safe ways to pay a seller you have never met

Ask for pictures of the mounting points and the label. Cash on delivery with the right to open the parcel first, or the OLX delivery option where offered, keeps the money with you until you see the part. A seller pushing a transfer for something far below market price is a reason to stop.
