OLX Romania furniture bargains as Viber messages

Deciding on a dining table from a line of text

Viber alerts have no photo card and no buttons, just words. For furniture that is less of a handicap than it sounds, because Romanian sellers tend to pack the essentials into the title: wardrobe with three doors and mirror, extendable solid wood table for six, corner sofa with storage box. Next to the price, that is usually enough to know whether to open the link.

If it reads right, open the ad, look at the photos, then call.

Bargains on OLX come from people who are leaving

Someone moving to another city, a family clearing out a flat they have sold, a tenant off to work in Germany next week. They set a low price to be finished quickly, take a handful of calls in the first hour and usually hand the piece to the first caller who can pick it up.

A text in Viber while the ad is new gives you a fair chance of being that caller.

Forward it to the group, but agree who phones

Share a promising message in the family group and talk it through. Decide in advance who rings the seller when something fits, though, because a well-priced bed frame can be gone while everyone is still debating the colour.

Furnishing several rooms? Give each item its own search so every message is about a single decision. Free gives you one search checked every 30 minutes, Starter at $5.99 five searches every 10 minutes, and Pro at $14.99 twenty searches with the fastest checks. Viber is on every plan.

Getting a bed frame home from an OLX seller

Measure doors, stairwell and lift, and ask for exact dimensions and whether the piece dismantles. Check sofa mechanisms and wardrobe hinges. If the ad offers delivery through OLX, read its terms before ordering.

See the item before paying in full. Decline a deposit to a stranger who avoids meeting, and ignore payment links sent in chat.
