Who sells a nearly new Bosch at half price, and why

Most good appliance deals in Turkey are not about broken machines. They come from people leaving: a family heading abroad, a student finishing in Eskişehir, a couple merging two households. A big fridge or a front loader does not fit in the car, the move date is fixed, and the price reflects that.

Those sellers want the machine gone more than they want the last lira, so the first buyer who calls and can collect soon usually gets it. A Telegram card puts that listing in front of you during the day instead of at night, when you finally sit down to browse.

Width, depth, kilograms: write the constraint into the search

A bargain that does not fit is not a bargain. If your kitchen has a 45 cm slot, put that size or the word ankastre into the search text; for a washer, the drum capacity; for an air conditioner, the BTU rating. Fewer cards arrive, and nearly all are machines you could use.

Set the price cap below the shop price of a new one, or the chat fills with dealer stock.

At the seller's door: what to watch the machine do

Ask for a short wash cycle and listen to the spin. Check that a fridge has been plugged in for a while and the walls are cold. Read the rating plate for the production year and the energy class, because an old, thirsty machine gives its discount back through the electricity bill.

Ask about the invoice and any garanti belgesi in your first message; remaining warranty is worth paying a little more for. Keep the usual care: no kapora before you have seen the appliance, meet at the seller's address or another public place, and inspect it before any money changes hands. Ship-only offers deserve extra caution.

Counting the van and the installer before you reply

A cheap washer on a fourth floor with no lift costs more than its price tag. An air conditioner needs removal, transport and a fresh installation. Save a local mover's number before the hunt starts, and add those costs in your head when a card arrives.

Offering to collect today often wins a small reduction.
