Older consoles are a bargain too

Not everyone needs the newest machine. A PS4 or an Xbox One with a stack of games can be a very cheap way into console gaming in Bosnia, and plenty of families sell them once they upgrade. Those ads draw a lot of interest because the price is low, so speed matters as much as with a PS5.

Save one search for the older console and one for the newer one if you are undecided, and see which offer turns up first.

Keeping console headlines worth opening

Since the Viber alert is a headline and a price, your OLX.ba search decides how useful it is. A search for „PlayStation“ alone brings controllers, games and repair offers. Typing the model, setting a minimum price that rules out accessories and a maximum you can afford keeps the messages to real consoles.

If a week passes with nothing, widen the area or raise the ceiling slightly; if the chat fills up, narrow it.

Writing to the seller in the same app

Many sellers on OLX.ba put a Viber number in the ad. Open the link, take the number and ask for a short video of the console starting a game, the controllers in use and the disc drive reading. Ask whether they will sign out of their account before the sale. Clear answers within minutes usually mean an honest seller.

Pay only after the console runs

Meet in a place where the console can be plugged into a screen, or ask the seller to have it running when you arrive. Test controllers for stick drift, listen to the fan and check the HDMI port. Never send a deposit for a console you have not seen, and never pass on a code that arrives on your phone.
