The mistake: searching „retro“ and nothing else

The word is everywhere on olx.ba, from new furniture to phone cases. A Viber chat that pings for every one of them is a chat you will mute within a day.

Name the object instead, and the brand if it matters: Iskra for phones, RIZ or EI Niš for radios and televisions, Jugoton for records. Two narrow searches beat one wide one.

A good habit: start with one precise search for the item you want most, watch what arrives for a week, then widen the price or the area if the messages are too few.

Living with text-only alerts

Posted parcels inside Bosnia are common for small items such as badges, coins and records. For a valve radio or a gramophone, a meeting in person is safer, even if it means a drive to Mostar or Bihać on a Saturday.
