A Saturday morning scene on OLX Romania

Someone in Cluj clears out a late uncle’s flat and posts „discuri vechi, 20 lei bucata“ with one blurry photo of a crate. Among them sit a few early Electrecord pressings. The first collector to phone gets the crate; by lunchtime the ad says reserved.

Asking the right questions about an old watch, coin or record

Before money moves, ask for close-ups: the movement of a watch, the maker’s mark under a plate, both faces and the edge of a coin, the vinyl surface under light. A reproduction tends to look convincing only in the wide shot.

Why the photo in the Telegram card matters for collectors

With vintage, the picture decides more than the title. From the card you can already see whether the sleeve is torn or the dial is original, without opening anything. The same chat runs on phone and desktop, and you can forward a card to a friend who knows coins better than you.
