A checklist before you set up the alert

Know your frame size, or at least your height, and the wheel size you want. Decide whether you want a hardtail or full suspension, rim or disc brakes, and an honest top price in lei. For an e-bike, decide on the motor family and the minimum battery capacity you would accept.

Demand is seasonal. When the weather turns in spring, people in Cluj, Bucharest and Timișoara all look for the same few things at once: a sensible MTB, a road bike in a common size, a commuter e-bike. A fairly priced one gets several messages within hours, and the seller usually goes with whoever arranges a viewing first.
