Which baby items get snapped up on OLX Kazakhstan

Good travel systems, isofix car seats and convertible cots hold value, and parents know it. A well-kept stroller from a known brand at a reasonable price in Almaty often goes to the first family who calls. Bundles, a bag of clothes in one size or a full set of toys, go quickly too.

Children outgrow everything in months, so the supply is steady, but the best-kept items are always the first to leave.

A search per stage, not one for everything

A newborn needs a different stroller from a toddler, and a car seat group depends on weight. Make one search per item and stage: „car seat 0+ isofix“ separately from „stroller up to 3 years“. Add a minimum price to keep out rattles and bibs if you are after big items.

Each search gets a hashtag, so one chat can carry the stroller hunt and the cot hunt without confusion.

Safety checks for a used car seat, stroller or cot

For a car seat, ask whether it has been in an accident, find the production date on the label, and check that the belts and buckles are complete. For a stroller, fold and unfold it, test the brakes and wheels. For a cot, check that every bolt is there and the slats are solid.

Pay after you have seen the item. A cheap premium stroller offered only with delivery from another city after a Kaspi prepayment is a pattern to avoid.

Sharing the hunt with the other parent

Big purchases for a child are rarely one person’s call. When a card for an isofix seat or a cot lands, the other parent may be at work in another part of Almaty, and a forwarded card is the quickest way to agree before someone else calls the seller.

Forward any card to your partner or grandparents straight away, and decide together. The same chat opens on a laptop with Telegram Desktop, and a muted search for clothes arrives without a sound at night.
