Popular models such as the Toyota Camry, Hyundai Accent, Kia Rio or a late Lada Granta hold their value in Kazakhstan, and dealers as well as private buyers watch for any that is priced to sell. A private owner who needs money for a move or a new car lists at a fair price and takes the first serious caller who can come today.

Tuning the OLX.kz car search: not too wide, not too narrow

Too wide, and every Camry in the country floods the chat; too narrow, and a car one year older than your limit never reaches you. Ask for the VIN and the registration certificate early, and check that the name on the documents matches the seller or that they hold a valid power of attorney. Check for loans, liens and restrictions on the car through official services before paying. Cars registered in a neighbouring country need customs clearance and local registration before they can be put on Kazakh plates; ask what stage that car is at.

Have a garage of your choice inspect the car. Do not send a deposit for a car you have not seen, and pay when the transfer of ownership is being registered.
