Email alerts for car parts listed on OLX.pl

Rare parts for older cars surface on OLX at odd hours and odd intervals, and an email that waits in your inbox suits a hunt that can last weeks.

A restoration project that waits on three missing pieces

Say you are bringing an old Polonez or an early Golf back to the road. The interior handle, the wiper motor and a particular grille might each take a month to appear. Set up a search for each one and let the mails come in over the season, every one filed under the car’s name.

The inbox keeps the trail: which seller had what, what they asked, and which ads you passed on. When the last piece finally turns up you are not trying to remember a listing from six weeks ago.

Getting the search wording right in Polish

The OE number is gold, since dismantlers and parts shops tend to put it in the title. Without it, combine the model, the generation and the Polish name of the part, and consider a second search with a synonym: sellers alternate between „lampa“ and „reflektor“ for a headlight, for instance.

Before you pay for a part posted from another city

Parts change mid-generation, so ask which car and year it came from and request a photo of the stamped number. Compare it with your catalogue before agreeing a price.

When the part is shipped, Przesyłka OLX keeps things on the platform rather than sending money straight to a stranger’s account. Card-detail requests through a payment link in some other chat app are a cue to end the conversation.

Email on every plan, and how many searches

Free checks one search every 30 minutes. Starter ($5.99) runs five every 10 minutes. Pro ($14.99) handles twenty with the fastest checks and sends mail to up to three addresses, handy for a workshop where the owner and the mechanic both want to know. Free and Starter mail one address.

Your mail provider decides which folder our messages go to. After the first match, look in spam, mark the mail as wanted and add the sender to your contacts. Each email has an unsubscribe link.

❓Frequently asked questions

Are several new parts sent as separate emails?

No, everything new from one check comes together in a single mail.

Will I be mailed about parts already for sale?

No. The first check records the current list, and only later ads are sent.

Can I forward an alert to my mechanic?

Of course; it is an ordinary email, so forwarding works as usual and they can open the OLX link without an account.

Do I need an OLX account?

Only to contact sellers.

How do I end a search once the part is bought?

Delete the search or click unsubscribe in one of its mails; your other searches keep going.
