Used auto parts from OLX.ba, mailed when they appear

Rare used parts on OLX Bosnia can take weeks to show up, so a mail each time a check finds new matches lets you keep looking without remembering to look.

3 steps

Set up in a minute

  1. Search on OLX, sort by newest

    Make the parts search exact

In the OLX.ba car parts section select the make and model, then type the part name or the number from your old part. Set a price limit in KM and, if you want to pick it up, a region. Order by newest and copy the page address.

  2. Copy the link, paste it into mxsender

    Choose email in MXSender

Paste the link on the website or send it to our Telegram bot and choose email. Add Telegram or Viber if you want a quicker heads-up. Free and Starter send to one address, Pro to up to three, useful if your mechanic should see them too.

  3. New listings land in your inbox

Look through one mail per check

Each mail lists every new part that check found, each with its photo, price in KM and link. No new matches, no mail. Unsubscribe from any mail with the link at the bottom.

Does a slow hunt need a fast channel?

For a common part, probably yes. For a gearbox for an older Peugeot or a door panel in one particular colour, the hard part is not reacting within minutes, it is not forgetting to look for six weeks. Email is good at that: it waits in your inbox until you have time, and nothing you were sent disappears.

If the part is both rare and cheap, add Telegram to that search too. People who restore older cars in Bosnia know a good used part can be gone the same day.

Building a folder of offers

Make a mail filter that sends these alerts to a folder per car. Over a few weeks you get a picture of what the part normally costs in KM, which breakers have it and how condition varies. That is useful when a seller asks more than usual, and when you decide whether a new part is the better deal. Searching the inbox for a part number also brings up every offer you were sent for it, which no saved page on a site can do once the ads have gone.

Where the first parts mail may land

Your provider decides where mail from a new sender goes. After the first match, check spam or promotions, mark it as wanted and add the sender to your contacts.

Fit, condition and paying for parts

Ask for the car it came from, the year and the mileage, and whether it was working when removed. Match part numbers, not only names, and ask about coding for electronic units. If the part is sent by post, prefer a method that lets you check it on delivery, and be wary of paying a stranger in full in advance.

Plans: Free, one search every 30 minutes. Starter, $5.99, five searches every 10 minutes. Pro, $14.99, twenty searches with the fastest checks. Email, Telegram and Viber on every plan.
