How much should a used MacBook cost in KM?

Nobody can tell you that in advance, but your inbox can after a couple of weeks. Every alert mail records the title, photo and asking price of each new ad. Sort a folder by date and you see how a MacBook Air M1 or a ThinkPad was priced across Sarajevo, Banja Luka, Tuzla and Mostar, which sellers lowered their price and which ads came back under a new title.

With that picture, a fair offer stands out, and you can call its seller without second-guessing.

Who prefers laptop alerts in the inbox

Parents buying a first laptop for a student who starts in October. Small offices replacing three machines at once and wanting the offers in one place. Developers and designers in Bosnia who check mail all day on a desktop anyway. For all of them email is a calm record rather than a ping, and it needs nothing installed.

Spotting a good notebook in the alert mail

A good ad names the processor, memory and storage in the title, shows the laptop switched on and mentions the battery. A vague title with a stock picture is worth a question before a trip. Words like kao nov (like new) or garancija (warranty) are worth checking in the full ad; ask for the receipt if the seller mentions one.

On MacBooks ask whether the seller has signed out of iCloud and turned off Find My. A laptop that is still activation locked to someone else is of little use.
