A checklist before the first email arrives

Name the model, not the instrument type: Telecaster brings Telecasters, гітара brings everything. Set a minimum price so straps, picks and stands stay out. Pick the region you will really drive to or receive a parcel from. Keep drums, keys and guitars in separate searches.

With that done, each mail reads like a short, relevant list rather than a dump of the whole category.

Sorting synths and basses in folders

Email is good at keeping things. Star a promising Moog or Precision Bass, file it into a Gear folder, and search your inbox for the model name next week to see what else came up and at what price. That history is a quiet way to learn what a fair price looks like before you message anyone.

There is nothing to install, and the photos are large enough on a laptop to see the finish and the fretboard.

Signs a famous-brand guitar is not what it claims

Copies of famous guitars do turn up. Check that the serial number format matches the year and factory, that the headstock logo and tuners look right, and that the price is plausible. Ask for close photos of the neck plate or the serial before you travel.

If the instrument is genuine, the usual checks still apply: a straight neck, frets that are not worn flat, quiet pots and a working switch. For keyboards, every key should respond evenly. Playing it in person is the best test.

Packing an amp or keyboard for Nova Poshta

Bulky gear often ships by Nova Poshta. Ask the seller to wrap the speaker grille and corners of an amp, and to use the original box or plenty of padding for a keyboard. Inspect at the branch, pay on receipt, and avoid sellers who insist on full prepayment.
