Who loses the cheap Squier, and why

Most good instrument deals on OLX are not missed by people who were not looking. They are missed by people who looked at the wrong hour. A student sells a barely used guitar after a term, the price is honest, and by the time you check the site in the evening the seller has five messages and has promised it to the first one.

A card in Telegram moves you closer to the front of that queue. You see the photo, decide whether the model and the price make sense, and write to the seller with a specific question while the listing is still fresh.

Wording a guitar or keyboard query that is not too wide

Searching the whole instruments category for гітара will bring strings, straps, kids’ toys and shop stock. A model family, say Yamaha P-45 or Ibanez Gio, keeps the cards relevant, and a price floor removes accessories. If two models would both do, run them as two searches rather than one vague one.

Drummers can do the same with electronic kits by naming the brand and series; amp hunters can add a wattage or a model line. Better three precise searches than one that pings you twenty times a day.

Neck, frets, keys: a short checklist

On a guitar, sight down the neck for a bow, look at fret wear in the first few positions, turn every knob to hear whether it crackles, and flick the pickup selector through each position. On a digital piano or synth, play every key, and listen for dead or uneven ones. Bring a cable or headphones and try the thing in person when you can.

Famous names attract copies. When a Gibson or Fender is far below the usual price, compare the serial number, headstock logo and hardware with genuine photos before you pay anything.
