OLX.ua rental flats in your inbox, one mail per check

Moving to Kyiv or Lviv for a job and not yet fluent in Ukrainian apps, you can let new OLX rental listings arrive in the inbox you already read all day.

3 steps

Set up in a minute

  1. Search on OLX.ua, sort by newest

    Filter the flats on OLX

In the Нерухомість section choose Довгострокова оренда квартир. Set the city and districts, the number of rooms and your monthly ceiling in hryvnia, and tick Приватна особа if you want owners rather than agencies. Sort so the newest flats sit on top, then copy the full address of the results page.

  2. Copy the link, paste it into mxsender

Give MXSender the link and your address

Add the link and pick email as the channel. Free and Starter send to one address, Pro to up to three. You can also route the same search to Telegram or Viber later without changing anything else.

  3. New listings land in your inbox

Read the round-up, pick who to call

Whenever a check finds something new, one email arrives listing every new flat from that check, each with its photo, title, rent and a link to the listing. Flats that were already on the page when you added the search are left out.

Relocating to Ukraine: renting from abroad or from a hotel room

If you are arriving for work, or helping a relative find a place before they come, email is the least demanding way to follow the market. The listing titles stay in Ukrainian, the rent stays in hryvnia, and your browser can translate the listing page once you click through.

What you need from each mail is simple: which flats look worth a viewing, and who should call the owner first. Forward the mail to the colleague or friend who will make that call in Ukrainian.

A rental archive you can search a week later

Unlike a notification that vanishes once swiped, every mail stays put. A filter rule that drops them into a Rentals folder gives you a running record of what owners in your district ask, which flats come back after a week, and which disappear the same day.

Searching the inbox for a street name brings back the flat you saw on Monday and did not get to call. Every mail also has an unsubscribe link, so stopping is one click.

Tuning the flat search before you copy it

The whole city at any price fills the inbox with places you will never open; one street and one floor might stay silent for weeks. Two or three neighbouring districts, the room count you really need, and a price ceiling a little above your target is a workable middle.

Two genuinely different options, say a one-room near the centre or a two-room further out, work better as two searches. Each mail then stays short and easy to judge.

Paying to view is where a rental hunt goes wrong

Never send a deposit or a viewing fee before you have been inside the flat. If anyone asks you to transfer money to hold a place you have not seen, skip that listing and open the next mail.

At the viewing, ask for the owner’s ownership document and ID and check the names match. Write the rent, term, utilities and deposit into an agreement, and if an agency shows you the flat, ask about its commission before you travel there.

How often the rental search is checked

Free covers one search with a check every 30 minutes. Starter, $5.99, covers five searches every 10 minutes. Pro, $14.99, covers twenty searches with the fastest checks and up to three email addresses. Email is available on every plan.

❓Frequently asked questions

Will I get one email per flat?

No. Each check that finds something produces one mail with all the new flats from that check.

The mail went to spam. What should I do?

Mark it as not spam and add the sender to your contacts so later mails reach the inbox.

Can my partner get the same emails?

On Pro, yes, up to three addresses. Free and Starter send to one.

Do I need to know Ukrainian to use this?

No. The OLX filters are set once, and listing pages can be translated in the browser. Calling the owner is easier with a Ukrainian speaker, though.

Does MXSender take part in the rental?

No. We tell you about new listings; viewing, documents and the contract are between you and the landlord.

How do I stop the emails?

Use the unsubscribe link in any mail, or pause or delete the search.
