What makes a used instrument on OLX India sell in an hour?

Fair-priced entry-level guitars and keyboards, well-kept harmoniums and complete drum kits are the ones that vanish quickest. Rare vintage pieces sit longer, but they also draw collectors from other cities.

Testing a second-hand guitar or keyboard before paying

Bring headphones or a small amp. For a guitar, look down the neck for a bow, check that the action is playable and that the tuners hold pitch. For a keyboard, play every key, try the sustain pedal and confirm the adapter comes with it.

For tablas and harmoniums, listen for buzzing, check the skin and the bellows, and ask when it was last serviced. A seller who does not want you to play the instrument is a reason to keep looking.
