Why „bike“ alone fills your chat with motorcycles

Search „bike“ on OLX India and you mostly get motorcycles and scooters. Use the Bicycles section or words like „cycle“, „MTB“, „hybrid“ or „e-cycle“, and add a brand if you have one in mind. A minimum price keeps out spare parts and kids’ trikes.

Want an electric scooter instead? That is a separate search with its own words, and its own hashtag in the chat.

Which cycles and e-bikes sell first

Lightly used geared cycles from known brands, priced under the shop price, and e-cycles with a healthy battery and charger go quickly, especially before the monsoon ends and when schools reopen. Rusty single-speeds wait.

Being among the first replies matters most for well-priced e-cycles, because the battery is the expensive part and a seller who is moving house or leaving the city often prices the whole thing to go. Looking over a used cycle or e-bike
