Saturday on OLX.ba: the first caller takes it home

A washing machine for 150 KM appears in Zenica at nine in the morning. By ten the seller has had a dozen calls and the person who rang first has already arranged to collect it. That is how OLX.ba works for anything priced fairly: furniture, tyres, a pram, a tool set. The ad stays online for days, but the deal is over within the hour.

Nobody can refresh a results page all weekend. MXSender looks at your saved search page and tells you in Telegram when something new is on it.

The card carries the listing photo, the title as the seller wrote it, the price in KM and a button to open the ad on OLX.ba. Titles stay in the seller’s language, so you will see words like polovno for used, novo for new, hitno when someone needs to sell fast and zamjena when they would swap.

Every search gets its own hashtag, so a sofa hunt in Sarajevo and a tyre hunt in Banja Luka stay apart in one chat; mute the one that can wait. Cards can be forwarded to a partner, and the chat is the same on your phone and on desktop.

Checks before you drive across the canton for an ad

Ring the seller before you set off and ask whether the item is still there; hitno ads move fast. Meet where you can see the thing working, in daylight, and test it on the spot. Be wary of anyone who asks for a deposit before you have seen the item, or who will only deal through a courier when you live in the same town. If a price is far below what similar ads ask, ask why before you travel.

❓Frequently asked questions

Does this replace the OLX.ba app?

No. You keep using OLX.ba to read ads and contact sellers. MXSender only watches the search page you saved and sends a Telegram card when a new ad appears on it.

Will I get the ads that are already listed?

No. Only listings that show up after you saved the search are sent, so the chat does not fill up with old ads on day one.

Can I watch several cities at once?

Yes. Save one search per city or category. Free allows one search, Starter five and Pro twenty, and each search has its own hashtag in the chat.

Why does a card show a price in KM?

We show the price the seller entered on OLX.ba, which is normally in convertible marks. When a seller writes that the price is by agreement, the real figure gets settled on the phone, so those ads are worth a call.

What if my search suddenly sends too many cards?

The search is probably too wide. Add a price ceiling, a smaller area or a condition filter on OLX.ba, copy the new address and replace the link of your search.
