Head to the sports and bicycles area or type what you want, such as trek mountain bike, gravel or e-bike Bosch. Set a maximum price in KM, choose your city if you will only pick up nearby, mark new or used where the listing offers that choice, sort the results newest first and copy the link.

Why do the good bikes on OLX Bosnia vanish by noon

Because everyone who wants a decent hardtail for the trails above Sarajevo is looking at the same few ads. A bike in the right size at a sensible price in KM gets messages within the hour, and sellers usually go with the first person who turns up with cash. Being early is most of the deal.

Frame size first, brand second

The most common regret with a used bike is the wrong size. Before you set up the search, know your frame size in centimetres or as S, M, L, and add it to the search words if sellers in your area tend to mention it. A fair price on a bike that does not fit is not a deal.

E-bike batteries, frame numbers and other checks in Bosnia

For an e-bike, ask how old the battery is, how many charge cycles it has seen, and whether the charger comes with it; a tired battery can cost a large share of the bike’s price to replace. For any bike, check the frame number and ask for a receipt if one exists, since stolen bikes do turn up online. Ride it, test the brakes and gears, and pay after the test ride, not before.
