Someone upgrades, clears the drawer and posts an XF 23mm at a price that is honest rather than hopeful. The first message usually comes within the hour, and the seller tends to sell to whoever can meet first. If you only check OLX.ba after work, you meet the ad when it is already marked as sold.

Ask for the shutter count and a photo of the sensor before you travel. For lenses, shine a torch through the glass and look for haze, fungus or deep scratches, and check that autofocus and stabilisation work on a body you trust. A grey import can be a fine buy, but warranty service in Bosnia may be harder to arrange.

Meet in a public place, test on the spot and pay once you are satisfied. A seller who insists on an advance payment by bank transfer for a camera you have never seen is a seller to walk away from.

How wide should a camera search on OLX Bosnia be

One mount across the whole country is usually the sweet spot: wide enough to catch a lens in Mostar or Tuzla, narrow enough that the chat is not full of tripods and phone cases.
