Search for the console you want on OLX

Friday night in Johar Town, a PS5 bundle goes up

Someone is moving abroad and lists a PS5 with two controllers and a few discs at a price that makes sense. The first message arrives within minutes, a reseller offers cash by evening, and by morning the ad is gone. People who check OLX once a day never even see it.

Consoles sell like this across Pakistan: popular, easy to resell, and priced by people who want them gone quickly. Whoever replies early sets the terms.

Disc or digital, bundle or bare: shaping the console search

Write the edition in your keywords; a digital PS5 and a disc PS5 are priced differently, and so are a Switch Lite and a Switch OLED. If you want games or a second controller included, the word bundle in the search often helps, though sellers phrase it in many ways.

Keep a separate search for each console. A Switch hunt for the children and a PS5 hunt for yourself should not share one hashtag.

Before the cash: testing a used console

Ask to see the console running on a TV, with a game loading from disc if it has a drive. Try every controller, listen for loud fans, and look at the ports and the seal screws for signs of repair. For a Switch, check the Joy-Cons for drift and confirm the console is not still linked to the seller’s account in a way that blocks you.

Meet in a public place, avoid paying an advance through a mobile wallet to hold it, and be careful with prices far below the market.

Several consoles, one chat, a few hashtags

Every saved search gets its own hashtag, so PS5, Xbox and Switch cards can share the same Telegram chat and still be easy to tell apart. Mute the searches that are only a backup; their cards arrive silently and wait for you.

If you buy with a friend or resell, forward the card straight to them from the chat.

Choosing a plan for a console hunt

Free covers one search, looked at every 30 minutes. Starter, $5.99, covers five searches every 10 minutes, so each console and city can have its own. Pro, $14.99, covers twenty searches with our fastest checks. Telegram works on all of them.
