Saturday morning, Gulberg: the bike that went by noon

A seller in Lahore posts a lightly used 27.5-inch mountain bike with hydraulic brakes for a price that is honest rather than hopeful. The first three people who call get directions; the fourth hears „already sold“. Ask how old the battery is, how far it goes on a charge today and whether the charger is included. Ride it around the block and watch the display. For any bicycle, check the frame for cracks near the welds, spin both wheels and test the brakes.

Meet in daylight at a public place, bring someone along for a pricier bike, and do not send an advance through a bank transfer or a mobile wallet to a seller you have not met. Ask for the purchase receipt if the seller claims the bike is nearly new.
