A photographer’s checklist before saving the search

Which mount are you committed to: Canon EF or RF, Nikon F or Z, Sony E? Which bodies or lenses would you really buy, and up to what price? Which cities can you reach to test the gear? Would you take a kit with extras, or only the body?

Meet in a public place, take your own memory card, and avoid sending an advance to reserve gear you have not handled. A price far below the market for a recent body deserves extra suspicion.
