Vinyl, coins and old watches from OLX.ua in Telegram

Collectors in Ukraine can let each new record, coin, stamp album or watch from their own OLX search arrive in Telegram as a photo card, so a fairly priced piece gets a message before someone else claims it.

3 steps

Set up in a minute

  1. Search on OLX.ua, sort by newest

Shape one OLX.ua search per collecting theme

Open the hobby section of OLX.ua and its antiques and collections area, or simply type the item into the search box. Add the exact series, label or model, choose a city or the whole of Ukraine, set a top price in hryvnias and sort by newest. Copy the address of that results page.

  3. New listings land in your Telegram

A Tuesday evening, a box of 1970s Melodiya pressings

Picture a card landing in your chat: a cardboard box of Melodiya LPs, jazz and rock, photographed on a kitchen table in Odesa, priced as one lot. The seller is clearly clearing space, not researching values. You tap the button, skim the photos and ask whether the sleeves are complete before anyone else has written.

That is how most good finds go on Ukrainian classifieds. Records, enamel badges, pocket watches and coin albums are often listed by relatives rather than collectors, at a price that reflects the need to free up a shelf. Being the first polite buyer is what usually decides it.

Spelling every name the way a seller might

A Poljot watch can appear as ะŸะพะปะตั‚, Polet or Poljot; a Vostok Amphibia might be listed only as ะฐะผั„ั–ะฑั–ั. Sellers type whatever is printed on the box, in either alphabet, sometimes with a typo. Build one search per spelling and the variations stop hiding things from you.

Too broad a word, such as collection or old things, floods the chat. Keep those as silent searches and let the precise ones ring. Each card carries its hashtag, so you can scroll back through only the watches or only the stamps.

Grading, replicas and where a piece came from

Ask for daylight photos of both sides of a coin or badge, next to a ruler, and compare size and weight with a catalogue; modern copies of Soviet items are common. For a watch, a photo of the movement tells more than the dial. For vinyl, ask the seller to grade the disc and sleeve, for instance Near Mint or VG+, and to show both sides under a lamp.

Ask where the item came from, whether a family archive or a market stall; an honest seller answers easily. With Nova Poshta, choose delivery with inspection at the branch rather than full prepayment to a strangerโ€™s card. For valuable antiques, check the rules that apply to them before you agree to anything.

Plans for one theme or a whole shelf of them

Free gives you one search checked every 30 minutes. Starter at $5.99 covers five searches checked every 10 minutes, and Pro at $14.99 covers twenty with the fastest checks. Telegram is included on every plan.

One narrow theme fits the free plan. Once you are running several spellings for several series, five or twenty searches start to make sense.

โ“Frequently asked questions

Can I forward a card to another collector?

Yes. Telegram forwards the card with its photo and button, so a friend can tell you whether the piece is worth chasing.

Will I be sent items that were listed before I started?

No. The first check notes what is already on the page, and only later listings are sent.

Does MXSender verify that a coin or watch is genuine?

No. We tell you a new listing exists; authenticity, condition and provenance are between you and the seller.

I read Ukrainian slowly. Is that a problem?

The photo and price usually tell you enough to decide, and brand names often appear in Latin letters too.

Do the cards show up on my computer as well?

Yes. It is an ordinary Telegram chat, the same on your phone and on the desktop app.
