Make one Divar search per room

Choose the city, open the home and furniture section and type the piece: double bed with mattress, bookcase, desk and chair, TV stand. Add a toman ceiling, sort with the newest first and copy the link. A separate search per piece keeps each mail short.

A scene: a new flat, an empty room, a tight budget

You got the keys on Saturday and the bedroom has nothing in it. New furniture would eat the deposit you just paid. Divar has plenty of beds and wardrobes from people who are moving, but you are working all week and every time you look, the good ones say sold.

With an email per check, the morning mail holds every new bed ad from the night and the evening mail holds the day’s. Pick two or three, message the sellers through Divar, and book the pickups for the weekend.

Comparing furniture ads at your desk

Email is good for comparing. You can open three ads side by side on a computer, check the photos at full size, and keep the ones you liked in a folder. When a seller says the price is fixed, your folder shows what similar tables went for last week.

On Pro three addresses can receive the list, handy for flatmates furnishing a shared place.

Mails also make the household decision easier. Forward one to the person you share the flat with, reply with the ad you both like, and only then write to the seller. Nobody has to keep Divar open on a phone all day, and the photos stay at hand when you later compare two similar beds or a pair of bookcases from different districts.

Before you load it into the van

Measure doors and stairwells first. Check beds for broken slats, tables for wobble, upholstered pieces for stains and pests. Pay when you collect, not before, and politely decline a deposit request for something you have not seen.

Keeping furniture alerts out of the spam folder

Where the first mail lands is up to your provider. After the first match, look in spam or promotions, mark it as wanted and add the sender to your contacts. Every mail includes an unsubscribe link.
