Three questions before you buy a used appliance

How old is it? Ask the seller and look for a label with the production date. Does it work now, in front of you? Switch it on, run a short cycle, listen for grinding. Can you move it? A fridge or dishwasher needs two people and a vehicle, and some sellers live on upper floors with no lift.

Answer those three before you pay. Pay at pickup, and say no to anyone who wants an advance by card to keep the item, or who sends a link to pay outside Divar.

Email as a slow-burn appliance search

Not every appliance is urgent. Maybe you want a better oven before Nowruz, or a second air conditioner for next summer. An email search suits that: the mails build up in a folder, you skim them when you have time, and you learn what fair prices look like for each brand.
